Welcome...

While recycling shingles is not a new thing – it started over 40 years ago by asphalt companies – it is something that has improved dramatically in the last few years. This improvement has made shingle recycling more affordable than the dumping of shingles in landfills and has created a more reliable product line for paving projects at an affordable price.

Originally, the only part of the shingle that was recycled was the scrap from manufacturers because of the debris found in roof tear-offs. We have made great strides in cleaning the waste from roofing which enables us to use the large quantities of materials that were crowding our landfills.

The new techniques of recycling have created a better quality product for roadways and parking lots that provides the paver with a cost savings and the rest of us with another option to help clean up our planet.

Your refuse will be handled with the utmost care, recycling it to meet all government regulations. We clean and recycle all materials we take in to our yard. At Great Lakes Shingle Recycling we pride ourselves on keeping our word.
